Majority of independent candidates are still waiting for their success notification

 Majority of independent candidates supported by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf are still awaiting notification of their success. According to the details, despite the passage of more than a week, the Election Commission of Pakistan has not yet issued the notification of the success of most of the independent candidates who won the National Assembly seats in the general elections. More than 10 independent candidates won, but by Saturday evening, only 8 independent candidates were notified of success and late at night, Election Commission declared 33 more candidates successful.

It has been reported that the Election Commission has so far issued notifications for 154 of the 265 seats in the National Assembly, including only 41 independent candidates. It takes three days to join any political party. Raja Khurram Nawaz, successful from NA-48 Islamabad, was the first independent candidate whose notification was first issued on February 12. Two days before that, he joined the Pakistan Muslim League. It was announced to join the N.

It has been learned that on February 13, former Punjab Governor Mian Muhammad Azhar, an independent candidate from NA-129 constituency in Lahore, and Ghulam Muhammad, an independent candidate from Chiniot constituency NA-93, were declared successful. On February 15, the Election Commission PTI Independent candidate Adil Khan supported by NA 262 Quetta and independent candidate Aqeel Malik from NA 54 Rawalpindi on February 16. In which Muhammad Ilyas Chaudhry NA 62 Gujarat, Osama Malik NA 83 Sargodha and Nisar Ahmad Jat NA 100 Faisalabad were declared successful.

It is being told that among the constituencies of the National Assembly from which the notification was issued late at night, NA 1, NA 2, NA 3, NA 4, NA 5, NA 6, NA 7, NA 9, NA 10, NA 12, NA 13, NA 14, NA 16, NA 17, NA 18, NA 19, NA 20, NA 21, NA 22, NA 23, NA 24, NA 25, NA 26, NA 26, NA 30, NA 31, NA 32, NA 33, NA 34, NA 35, NA 36, NA 37, NA 39, NA 41, NA 42 and NA 45 are included, among them independent candidates were declared successful in 33 constituencies, Majlis-e-Wahdat Muslimeen, PPP and Muslim League-N candidates were declared successful in one each.
