Police encounter in Rawalpindi, 4 robbers killed

Rawalpindi: Four robbers were killed in the exchange of fire during the police encounter, the accused had killed a citizen who came from Britain for resisting robbery three days ago.

According to the details, robbers opened fire on the police in the race course area in Rawalpindi late at night, 4 robbers were killed in the exchange of fire.

CPO Khalid Hamdani said that weapons have been recovered from the dead robbers, the robbers were identified as Sajid, Hassan, Muhammad Ali and Waseem.

Khalid Hamdani said that Mahmood's laptop, bag and weapons used in the raids were recovered from the accused, along with the police uniform.

The gang used to use police uniforms during the incidents, the accused also committed incidents with citizens from Canada abroad.

According to the authorities, the accused used to target the citizens coming from abroad by racketeering at the airport, the members of the inter-provincial gang used to commit incidents in Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Pindi, the gang had records and challans in many incidents in different districts.
