UAE records coldest day of year

The coldest day of the year has been recorded in the UAE as the temperature dropped to 5.3 degrees Celsius. According to Emirati media, temperatures in the UAE have finally reached single digits and January 10 was officially recorded as the country's coldest day of the year, with Rukna in Al Ain area at 7:30 am. The temperature dropped to 5.3 degrees Celsius, the lowest temperature recorded by the NCM this year so far.

It has been reported that Rukna has been colder than other areas this year, however, on January 9, the temperature in Jabal Jais Mountain recorded a decrease of 7.2 degrees Celsius. It has gone below 100 degrees Celsius, some mountainous areas are expected to see even lower temperatures. The coldest day in the country's history so far was recorded in Rukna in 2021 when the temperature was minus 2 degrees Celsius. had fallen.

It is known that the winter months in the UAE officially started after December 21 and experts say that the country has experienced less winter than the previous years, the average temperature of December is also lower than the previous years.
