  Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Imran Khan and former foreign minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi have been granted bail in 12 cases of May 9 incidents. According to media reports, former Prime Minister Imran Khan and Vice Chairman PTI Shah Mehmood Qureshi have been granted bail in 12 cases of May 9 incidents in Rawalpindi and Attock.

In addition, on May 9, 12 cases related to attacks on military installations were heard by the Anti-Terrorism Court of Rawalpindi. Judge Ijaz Asif of the Anti-Terrorism Court started the prison trial against 498 accused. Hundreds of IK workers were summoned, Imran Khan and Shah Mahmoud Qureshi were also to be produced from Adiala Jail, but they were not produced and the registrar went to them for the presence of former prime minister and former foreign minister while on bail. All the present accused reached the court room of Adiala Jail Community Hall for attendance.
