US bombing several targets in Syria and Iraq


The US forces attacked dozens of bases used by Iran-backed militias in Iraq and Syria with planes and drones.

 were carried out in response to a drone attack in which three US soldiers were killed and around 40 were injured.

U.S. Central Command Forces (CENTCOM) said in a post on X that the forces conducted airstrikes against the Revolutionary Guards' Quds Force and its allied militia groups inside Iraq and Syria. US forces hit more than eighty-five targets. Several aircraft were used for these attacks, including long-range fighter jets that also flew from the United States. These include centers, storage facilities for rockets, missiles, unmanned aerial vehicles and facilities used to supply weapons to militia groups.
