Lahore: Founder PTI has challenged the decision of rejection
of nomination papers in NA 89 and 122 in Lahore High Court.
According to the details, petitions were filed against
rejection of nomination papers from 2 constituencies of founder PTI.
Founder PTI filed a petition against the rejection of
nomination papers in NA 89 and 122, contending that the Returning Officers
rejected the nomination papers contrary to facts in both constituencies,
objecting that the Returning Officers were convicted. What did
In the petition, it was said that in NA-122, an objection
was raised that the proposer was from the same constituency, both the
objections are not in accordance with the law.
The petition requested that the court annul the decision of
the returning officers and the tribunals and allow the founder PTI to contest
the elections.
