Convenor of Jammu and Kashmir Freedom Movement Dr. Zahid Ghani Dar has said that the sacrifices of thousands of innocent Kashmiri martyrs will be fruitful, the sun of freedom will rise in the occupied valley. He said that India should withdraw the amendment in the law and restore the status of Occupied Kashmir before August 5, 2019. He further said that it was a big conspiratorial action by the Indian government, through which it wanted to bring geographical changes in Occupied Jammu and Kashmir and also change the population ratio of Jammu and Kashmir. Dr. Zahid Ghani Dar said that this initiative of the Indian government was to turn the present Kashmiris into a minority and to settle non-Kashmiris from outside so that the pro-Indian forces can win in any referendum or election in the future. He said that the Kashmiri people in Pakistan are united for the cause of Kashmir. He said that India has committed the worst atrocities to continue its illegal occupation of Jammu and Kashmir.

He said that Kashmiris reject India's illegal occupation of their motherland. He also expressed deep concern over the massive human rights violations, custodial killings and genocide of innocent Kashmiris by the occupying Indian Army in the occupied valley. He said that these nefarious actions are enough to shake the conscience of the international community.

The convener of Jammu and Kashmir Freedom Movement further said that freedom is the fundamental right of the people of Occupied Jammu and Kashmir and no one can deny this fact.
